Embark on this 4-step challenge to evaluate and strengthen your personal or business "movement" – whether it's a project, habit, or venture – by distinguishing start mode (high-energy chaos) from sustain mode (stable rhythm).
1) Assess Your Current Mode —
Reflect on your movement. Ask: Does it feel urgent and fiery (start mode), or trusting and selective (sustain mode)?
Note one example of high energy vs. solid ground, like chaotic setups vs. routine processes.
2) Identify Key Indicators —
List 3-5 personal metrics for sustain mode, inspired by finances (e.g., steady recurring revenue), community (e.g., critical mass of supporters), and rhythm (e.g., 18 months of consistency).
Be specific to your context.
3) Set Milestones —
For each indicator, define a clear milestone (e.g., "Achieve 5 engaged members" or "Hit 18 months without major resets").
Prioritize one to focus on this month.
4) Take Action and Review —
Proactively maintain sustain elements (e.g., relationships or routines) while energizing start areas.
After 7 days, review progress and adjust – celebrate any shift toward stability!
