I look down at my plate and feel a sense of abundance.

At that moment, a bird flies on the railing.

It CLEARLY is eyeing my breakfast!

Is it the bread? the cheese? the eggs?

A primal sense overcomes me.

I eye the bird and in my mind, I sternly say, 'MY Food.'

The bird cocks its head and doesn't move.

In any moment, I expect that bird to come screaming down, dive-bombing my meal and capturing it's meal for the day.

So what happened next?

As I walk down the crowded narrow street in...

I look up and I see the beautiful facade of the Greek Cathedral.

I am reminded that although we are quite different in our cultures, traditions and rituals, we are grounded in common values.

Yes, it is awe that fills my heart when I see great craftsmanship that produces such beauty.
